Terms of service
These terms cover your use of CallCanvas. They are written in plain language and mean what they say.
Who you are contracting with
CallCanvas is provided by Stephan Keck, Berne, Switzerland.
Accounts
- You must be 18 or older to hold an account.
- One account belongs to one person. Do not share sign-in codes.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping access to your email address secure.
- We may suspend an account that is being used to break these terms or the law.
Teams and roles
Playbooks belong to a team, not to an individual. The team owner controls the team and may appoint administrators. Administrators manage members; only the owner manages the subscription. A member with view-only rights can read and animate plays but cannot change them.
If you invite someone to your team, you are responsible for making sure they are an adult and that you are entitled to share the playbook content with them.
Your content
The plays, playbooks, and files you upload remain yours. You give us permission to store, process, and display them only to the extent needed to run the service for you and your team — for example, rendering a diagram, producing a PDF, or keeping a backup. We do not claim ownership and we do not use your playbooks to promote the product without asking you first.
You are responsible for having the right to upload what you upload. Do not upload material that infringes someone else's rights, and do not upload another product's proprietary content and present it as your own.
Subscriptions and payment
- A subscription covers one team and everyone in it. $49 / year per team
- New teams start with a trial period. When it ends, a subscription is needed to keep editing.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancel any time from inside the application; the subscription then runs to the end of the period already paid for.
- Payment is handled by Paddle. We never see or store your card details.
- Prices may change. We will give at least 30 days' notice by email before a change affects a renewal, and you may cancel instead.
Refunds and withdrawal
If you are a consumer, you may have a statutory right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of purchase. Because the service is available immediately, that right ends once you begin using it if you asked us to start straight away. Beyond that, if the product does not work as described, write to callcanvas@pm.me and we will sort it out.
What happens if a payment fails
Your playbooks are not deleted. Editing stops, but the team keeps read access for a grace period so a failed card cannot lock a coach out in the middle of a season, and a cancelled team keeps read access long enough to export its work. Your content becomes editable again as soon as the subscription resumes.
Availability
We aim to keep CallCanvas running and backed up, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Maintenance, provider outages, and faults happen. Keep your own exports of anything you cannot afford to lose.
Acceptable use
- Do not try to reach another team's data, probe the service for weaknesses without permission, or work around access controls.
- Do not resell access or share one subscription across teams that are not genuinely the same team.
- Do not use the service to store unlawful material.
If you think you have found a security problem, please tell us at callcanvas@pm.me before telling anyone else.
Ending the agreement
You may stop using CallCanvas and permanently delete your account at any time from Account settings. If you own a team with another active member, you must transfer ownership first; a sole-member team is deleted with its owner's account. The public account deletion page explains the manual route if you cannot sign in. We may end the agreement if these terms are seriously or repeatedly broken, and will give notice and a chance to export your data unless the law prevents it.
Liability
Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Otherwise our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost games, lost opportunities, or lost data where you had the ability to export it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Switzerland. If you are a consumer, you keep the protections of the mandatory law of the country where you live.
Changes
We will give notice by email before a material change takes effect. Continuing to use CallCanvas after that means you accept the updated terms.
