No app store download is required. CallCanvas is built as a fast, responsive web application that runs directly in current mobile Safari on iPhone/iPad, Chrome on Android, and any desktop browser. You can add it to your mobile home screen to launch it full-screen just like an app.
Yes. Playbooks you have already loaded remain cached and viewable in your mobile browser even when cellular reception drops at the field. Creating new plays or editing route geometry requires an internet connection so that edits sync safely to the team server without silently overwriting each other's changes.
One subscription covers your entire team. You can invite adult assistant coaches with full editing rights, and adult parents or guardians with view-only permissions to follow along — youth players never receive invitations or accounts. You never pay extra per player or coach seat.
No. Your plays are yours. From Account → Download my data a team owner can download a complete backup of the team at any time — every playbook and every play with its full route geometry, in a structured file, plus the roster. A cancelled team keeps read access for 30 days afterwards specifically so nothing is stranded, and lapsing does not delete team data: the team and its playbooks are kept for as long as the team exists, so they are still there when a subscription resumes, and the owner can permanently delete them at any time. Your own personal data is a separate, always-available download, and it never requires starting to delete anything.
CallCanvas lets you choose exact physical dimensions (presets from 3″ to 5″ width, or custom millimetres) along with 1 to 15 plays per insert, cut guides, zoom scaling, and a 100% actual-size print mode to ensure your inserts slip right into physical wristband windows. The interactive sizer above uses the same grid and page maths as the app.
Accounts are for adults (18+) only. Coaches can list player aliases, jersey numbers, and positions on a team roster for diagram labelling, but minors do not register, sign in, or have email accounts stored. A parent or guardian can accept a private invite linked to their child's roster entry. The adult receives a view-only account to follow the team's playbooks; the child still never signs in.
Your playbooks are private to your team and stored securely in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany). Access is enforced by the database so members of other teams cannot access your plays. We never sell your data or display advertisements. Payments are processed securely by Paddle.
