Delete your account
You can permanently delete your CallCanvas account from inside the application. This public page also provides a manual route if you cannot sign in.
Delete it yourself now
Sign in, open Account, choose Delete account, and type DELETE. Successful self-service deletion removes live account data immediately. If you own a team with a Paddle subscription, deletion cancels that subscription first — and if the cancellation fails for any reason, nothing is deleted, so a deleted account can never keep being charged.
If you own a team with another active member, transfer ownership to that member first. Account deletion is blocked until every such team has a new owner. A team you own as its sole active member is permanently deleted with your account.
Cannot sign in?
Email callcanvas@pm.me with the subject Delete my account, from the email address you use to sign in.
We confirm the request from the address on the account, so that nobody else can delete your data. We complete a verified manual request within 30 days and email you when it is done.
What is deleted
- Your sign-in identity and email address.
- Your display name and profile.
- Your membership of every team, and any invitations you issued that are still open.
- Files you uploaded that no team still depends on.
- A team you own as its sole active member, including its plays and private files.
What is not deleted, and why
- Playbooks owned by another member's team. These belong to the team rather than to you personally. Your creator reference is anonymised, but the play stays available to that team.
- Billing records. Invoices are kept for the period tax law requires. They record the transaction, not your playbook content.
- Security audit records. Kept for up to 12 months so that a team owner can see who changed access and when. They are pseudonymised as part of deletion.
- Backups. Deletion applies to the live service immediately. Existing encrypted backups expire after 30 days rather than being rewritten.
Downloading your data is separate
You never have to start deleting anything to get a copy of your data. Account → Download my data is its own action, available at any time, at no charge, whether or not you are leaving: it gives you your personal data, and — if you own a team — a complete backup of that team's playbooks and plays.
Deletion cannot be undone, so take the download first if you want to keep your work. If your subscription has already lapsed, you still have read access for 30 days so you can download a team backup.
Just want to leave a team?
You do not need to delete your account. Ask the team owner or an administrator to remove you, and you keep your account for other teams.
